SALT is a locally owned business, built by people who genuinely love great beer and coffee.
All shareholders take their turn behind the bar, creating a personal and welcoming atmosphere.
SALT is a bar with food – not a restaurant – offering a simple, carefully considered menu designed to complement our drinks.
Coffee & Pastries
Start your day with us. We open at 8am serving carefully sourced coffee and freshly baked pastries.
Food
Simple, honest, delicious. Our cheese toasties are available all day, and our pizzas are something special – made fresh and served straight from the oven. We don’t take table reservations – Just turn up!
Pizza hours:
Monday, Wed & Thurs: 4pm–9pm
Friday, Sat & Sun: 12pm–9pm

Craft Beer
We’re proud to bring Guernsey something genuinely different. SALT is the only place on the island where you’ll find beers from DEYA, Two Flints and Verdant – three of the most celebrated craft breweries in the UK – poured fresh and in perfect condition.
Our cask ales are imported directly from the UK, featuring some of Britain’s finest independent breweries including Harveys, Five Points, and Kirkstall — again, exclusively available at SALT.
A special mention for Second Meridian (2M), our brilliant local brewery whose beers have quickly become some of our best sellers. Great Guernsey brewing, right here at home.
Great new place in the market square, with a vast selection of beers (and some AF beers) and some good pizzas. Looking forward to being back soon in this cute setting.
